Jason Adolf advises government customers on ways to maximize their digital transformation and modernization investments. In his 20 years of government IT experience, Adolf has delivered complex technical solutions to federal clients including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the General Services Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Food and Drug Administration and numerous Defense Department agencies.
Adolf guides clients in their deployment of full-stack automation, case management and workflow solutions, helping them modernize mission and core systems. Among his notable projects, he managed the implementation of the case management system within the Department of Health and Human Services supporting the Affordable Care Act, and has been instrumental in the delivery and support of prior Appian work with a job training program at VA and the GSA PBS G-Rex leasing system.
Adolf has seen an unprecedented need for federal agencies to be both agile and resilient in 2020. He sees federal agencies increasing their use of low-code automation because low-code delivers the required speed and agility while extending their investments in legacy systems. He also says agencies should look for solutions that don’t require moving data from those legacy systems. He sees agencies benefitting from Appian’s ability to tap into any data repository without forcing the import of data into the application environment.
Why Watch:
Under Adolf’s leadership, Appian’s federal business has been growing rapidly and the number of new government customers increased significantly over the past year. Bringing federal customers and partners together in ways that allow them to share best practices across their organizations will continue to be a priority for Adolf and his team in the next year.
