This year’s 2012 AT&T National Tournament was held at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland last Thursday through Sunday. Before the unexpected and damaging storm that hit our area, WashingtonExec attended the event on Thursday. Intelligent Decisions (ID) was a sponsor of the event, with funding designated for the Tiger Woods Foundation.
“Intelligent Decisions is proud to be a founding partner of the AT&T National Tournament hosted by Tiger Woods and would like to congratulate Tiger on his win this year,” said Intelligent Decisions President and CEO Harry Martin. “This annual event has special meaning for our company because we also have a philanthropic partnership with the Tiger Woods Foundation focused on providing IT products and services to inner city schools, as well as scholarships that help children realize their higher education goals.”
ID has a historical partnership with the Tiger Woods Foundation. The company provided IT products and services for two Tiger Woods Learning Center Campuses (within the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School system located in Washington, DC). Intelligent Decisions has also pledged to sponsor five Earl Woods scholars at the start of every academic year.
The air-conditioned ID Chalet (a definite must) overlooked the 10th hole of the golf course. Onlookers had a side view of the 18th hole as well. The Fairway Skybox, directly overlooking the 18th hole, was also available for Intelligent Decisions patrons.
Guests from both the private and public sectors had the option of watching the tournament from the comfort and luxury of air-conditioning, or from the shady outside balcony.
