Atlas Research is working to advance care for veterans and their families by teaming up with the Veterans Health Administration to evaluate and revamp the agency’s structure.
This work falls under the Veteran Health Administration Management and Human Resources Assessment and Improvement Support task order, and is part of the Human Capital and Training Solutions indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. The General Services Administration refers to this as a “Best-in-Class” vehicle.
As VHA focuses on improving administrative processes to modernize veterans health care by adopting best practices and innovations, Atlas Research is helping by delivering analysis and recommendations in areas crucial to the agency’s success.
These areas include policy development, organizational structure, workforce composition, business processes and practices, internal and external communications, employee skill levels and quality of work life, customer service and related management areas.
The partnership will also support VHA’s mission to improve care as demand is projected to only increase in the coming years.
“Atlas has extensive experience across the Department of Veterans Affairs, with significant breadth and depth in health strategy and health operations,” said Atlas President and CEO Robin Portman. “We are leveraging our experience with VHA’s unique environment and culture to ultimately enhance VHA’s hospital administration, patient safety, and leadership engagement.”
