Advanced analytics technology leader Novetta had a big moment at one of this year’s largest tech conferences, AWS re:Invent.
The company took part in a duo of speaking engagements and two AWS product launches, and also served as an AWS Worldwide Public Sector sponsor. Novetta is an AWS Partner Network Advanced Consulting Partner.
Novetta’s Kim Bartoe, vice president of national security analytic solutions, joined AWS’ Teresa Carlson and other industry peers on stage during “WPT201 – We Power Tech: Lightning Talks with Executive Women in Tech.” Bartoe discussed diversity and inclusion on modern technical teams.
Novetta’s Kevin Heald and Matt Teschke took the stage to present WPS304 – Rapid Prototyping for Today’s Mission. Their Defense Department customer, Zach Hall, chief architect of global analytics, joined to demonstrate cutting-edge machine learning prototypes for use at the tactical edge.
Novetta leveraged the AWS Snowball Edge with GPU, launched at re:Invent, to triage digital media and identify high-priority documents and photos in minutes. The AWS Snowball Edge with GPU offers enhanced performance and support for artificial intelligence workloads, specifically those involving inference at the edge.
Novetta was a featured launch partner of the AWS Marketplace for Machine Learning. For the third year in a row, Novetta also served as an AWS WWPS sponsor to include exhibiting at the Public Sector Breakfast Keynote. The company took part in the AWS Public Sector Partner Advisory Council, open only to APN Advanced tier partners with a Public Sector Competency. Novetta is among four APN Consulting Partners to hold both the AWS Government Competency and AWS Machine Learning Competency.
AWS re:Invent took place in Las Vegas from Nov. 26-30.
