Conduent Inc. has named Marcus Collier as CEO of Conduent’s government business. Collier has more than 35 years of experience in technology-enabled business services including in the government contracting and delivery environment within the federal, state and local sectors.
Joining Conduent from General Dynamics Information Technology, Collier led the strategy, growth, operations and organizational development of a multidisciplinary business providing IT and business processing outsourcing services. He also led the organization through a transformation, growing it from $325 million in revenue to $2 billion.
“Marcus’ vast government and technology experience will allow him to lead a team focused on strengthening our portfolio, modernizing offerings and driving organic growth,” said Ashok Vemuri, CEO of Conduent. “This appointment, coupled with the recent addition of Mick Slattery to lead our transportation business, will allow us to deliver on our goal to be a leading partner for governments worldwide.”
President Dave Amoriell will continue to oversee the company’s IT services function, business operations and student loan services.
