SECAF has announced the finalists for its Fourth Annual SECAF Awards gala held on May 3 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. The awards honor small and emerging government contractors and the players in the industry that rely on small business.“SECAF represents government contractors who collect less than $25 million in annual revenue, and so we believe this niche market is well-deserving and in need of recognition of jobs well done,” said Kwesi Rogers, chairman of SECAF and president of Federal National Payables. “SECAF is honored to present these awards to those contractors and partners in our community that consistently put forth great work and produce business results that benefit the Washington, D.C. area.”Finalists were chosen in six revenue-based categories including Government Contractor of the Year; Small Business Partner of the Year; and SECAF Award of Excellence with revenues ranging from under $6million, $6 to $12 million, $12 to $25 million, under $25 million, $25 to $100 million and more than $100 million. The Government Small Business Advocate of the Year award will be given to one deserving government professional who has stood out amongst his/her peers within the community in terms of leadership and commitment.
