Zach Parker, president & CEO, DLH

DLH Corp. and Health and Human Services Department’s Administration for Children and Families received one of this year’s prestigious Innovation Awards from FedHealthIT magazine. The award was for DLH’s Aligned Monitoring System 2.0, which was built as part of a larger system modernization and integration effort the company has undertaken for HHS.

DLH leveraged state-of-the-art agile system development methods to create a new system to collect, aggregate and summarize Head Start performance data from all 1,700 community programs. The scalable solution supports continuous monitoring efforts and substantially enhances the efficiency and productivity of service delivery to the nationwide network of local grantees, underserved children and families, regional government representatives, and applicable congressional committees.

“Creating such positive change to government technology through innovation architected by our talented IT professionals is consistent with both our DLH values and strategic vision,” said DLH Corp. President and CEO Zach Parker. “We are truly honored to have been recognized by this prestigious award.”

HHS received multiple awards this year, as did the Veterans Affairs Department and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
