WashingtonExec’s Amanda Ziadeh sits down with Mike Hurt, group vice president for U.S. public sector at ServiceNow, to discuss the launch of a new AI-powered solution called EmployeeWorks. Designed to give government employees a single, intelligent entry point into their work, EmployeeWorks leverages natural language to access information and complete tasks across systems.

Hurt explains how ServiceNow’s platform approach embeds AI directly into workflows, connecting insights to action in real time while enabling agencies to scale beyond pilots to enterprise-wide impact. The conversation also explores what sets successful agencies apart as they move from AI pilots to enterprise-wide deployment, highlighting the importance of prioritizing employee experience, aligning AI initiatives to mission needs and scaling high-impact use cases.

Looking ahead, Hurt shares a vision of a hybrid workforce where AI and humans work together to deliver faster, more seamless and more responsive government services.
