Peraton has appointed Justin R. Ciaccio as president of the National Aerospace Solutions sector, where he will lead the Federal Aviation Administration’s Brand New Air Traffic Control Systems, or BNATCS, program.
Ciaccio brings over two decades of experience leading large-scale programs across defense, intelligence, civil and public safety sectors, overseeing large organizations and managing multibillion-dollar contracts in the nation’s most demanding operational environments. He most recently served as vice president and general manager at Peraton, directing a $500 million annual revenue portfolio and leading a workforce of over 2,000 professionals.
“I am deeply committed to the BNATCS program, which is foundational to modernizing America’s national airspace and setting a global standard for innovation, efficiency and safety,” Ciaccio said. “Those who depend on it – from air traffic controllers to the traveling public to the airline industry – deserve nothing less than flawless execution. I’ve spent my career building teams and systems that perform when it matters most, and I look forward to bringing that same standard of excellence, accountability, and customer focus to this critical effort.”
Peraton CEO and Chairman Steve Schorer said Ciaccio has built his career solving the hardest problems in government, where the stakes are high, innovation is non-negotiable and failure isn’t an option.
“His deep domain expertise, track record of building high-performing teams, and relentless focus on mission outcomes make him uniquely qualified to lead the National Aerospace Solutions sector and its pinnacle program, BNATCS,” Schorer added. “I am confident that Justin will not only meet the moment with this transformative Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) program, he will also reinforce Peraton’s long-term commitment to our customers.”
