CISO, Analysis and Resilience Center for Systemic Risk

Through close collaborations with member firms, Douglas Lemott Jr. helped build a cybersecurity framework that reduces systemic risks across critical financial functions.

“Recognizing that no single institution can address systemic cyber risk alone, we’ve made meaningful progress towards strengthening the resilience of the ecosystem that underpins both economic stability and national security,” he said. “This work has laid the foundation for ongoing partnerships that will continue to evolve and adapt to emerging threats.”

    Why Watch

In 2025, his team is heavily focused on operationalizing the cybersecurity framework they developed in partnership with member firms. They’re working to ensure it is both actionable and scalable, with clear implementation pathways that reflect the complexity of today’s threat landscape. The goal? To drive measurable improvements in resilience across the sector, while fostering deeper collaboration and information sharing among key stakeholders.

“In close collaboration with government and industry partners, ARC is keenly focused on addressing systemic risks to critical functions that underpin our economic security,” Lemott said.

Fun Fact: Lemott enjoys working on classic cars in his free time. “It’s a hands-on way to unwind and problem-solve differently than I do at work,” he said. “I also prioritize quality time with my family, whether it’s watching my children play sports, a weekend road trip, or just a quiet dinner together.” He also enjoys working out.
