ASRC Federal has named Mike O’Hara vice president of business development for the company’s space operating group.

O’Hara brings nearly four decades of aerospace industry experience, including 16 years with NASA’s Langley Research Center supporting aeronautic research and development.

Most recently, O’Hara was business development director at GDIT. He also held senior roles at Aerojet Rocketdyne, Ball Aerospace, Raytheon Technologies and Stanford Research Institute.

With his outstanding technical expertise and strong space industry background, Mike will help us expand our civilian and space defense business as we continue to provide best-in-class mission services and solutions,” said Scott Altman, space operating group president at ASRC Federal.

O’Hara is an American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics associate fellow and has served on multiple association boards, including the Aerospace Industries Association and the Maryland Space Business Roundtable.
