Ken Hofgesang
Vice President of Health, RELI Group
Ken Hofgesang’s team’s biggest achievement this year is the expansion and development of RELI Group’s Centers of Excellence, particularly in the health care space. These centers serve as specialized hubs that strengthen the company’s service delivery through focused expertise, innovative solutions and strategic support, ensuring mission success for federal clients.
By continually evolving its best practices, process improvements and advanced technology, RELI Group delivers top-tier services and methodologies that help agencies and federal health teams meet mission-critical objectives.
Combating fraud, waste and abuse across the federal health system has long been a challenge. Those who exploit federal health programs cost taxpayers billions of dollars, according to a report from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, while putting beneficiaries’ health and welfare at risk.
RELI Group supports CMS in managing this challenge by detecting, preventing and combating fraud, waste and abuse across federal health programs. This includes delivering solutions that advance program integrity and integrating technologies such as artificial intelligence and modern data management practices to streamline operations.
“I am so proud to be working with a great group of RELI program integrity professionals,” Hofgesang said. “Their expertise and hard work enables RELI’s Health Account to further the CMS mission of preventing Fraud, Waste and Abuse.”

Fun Fact: When Hofgesang was in fifth grade, he won the New Jersey State invention competition by inventing an automatic fish feeder.
