Sabel Systems Technology Solutions has appointed Shawn Purvis as its new CEO, according to the company’s March 4 LinkedIn post.

Purvis brings over 30 years of experience in enterprise strategy, digital transformation and operational excellence to the role. She most recently served as president and CEO of QinetiQ U.S.

“I’m thrilled to be joining this dynamic company!” she said. “I look forward to collaborating with such talented and passionate employees, supporting our customers’ most vital missions, and making a meaningful impact together.”

Purvis has led high-performing teams and implemented mission-driven innovations across the intelligence, cyber, information systems and defense industries.

“Her expertise in business transformation, technology integration, and strategic growth makes her the ideal leader to propel Sabel Systems into the future,” the company said.

Prior to QinetiQ U.S., Purvis was corporate vice president at Northrop Grumman Corp., where she led the enterprise services sector and was responsible for global cybersecurity, operations and next-generation digitization.

She also held positions in strategic, financial, engineering, operations and customer-focused leadership within Lockheed Martin and Science Applications International Corp.

“We are excited for the future under her leadership!” the company said.

Purvis was featured in WashingtonExec’s “Humble Beginnings” podcast, where she shared her career path, educational experiences, and upbringing in Northern Virginia under the values of “family, faith, hard work and doing good to others.”
