Parsons Corp. has won a position on an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, multiple award task order by the U.S. Army Environmental Command for remediation services at sites involving hazardous toxic waste.
The contract has a ceiling value of $464 and a 5-year ordering period. It represents new work for the company.

Under the contract, Parsons will compete for task orders to perform remediation services at various Army installations throughout the country and territories. Activities include per- and polyfluorinated substances treatment, munitions response and operational range assessments, the company said.
Parsons has experience investigating, mitigating and remediating PFAS, a widespread environmental issues. The company has also successfully performed munitions response projects and is developing Advanced Geophysical Classification technology.
This work also expands Parsons’ environmental remediation project portfolio. Earlier this year, the company won a spot on a $245 million U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contract for work funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act related to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency cleanup projects, the company said.
