Applied Information Sciences, a cloud transformation services provider, has appointed Sri Mandava as president of commercial business.

In his new role, Mandava will oversee all commercial operations, drive the company’s strategic growth plan, bolster partnerships and improve execution across sales and delivery. His leadership is expected to help AIS continue delivering innovative, technology-driven business value as it scales.

Mandava brings deep expertise in profit-and-loss management, business growth and leading operational turnarounds for clients. He led initiatives that accelerated profitability, built high-performing teams and advanced customer-centric strategies.

Before joining AIS, Mandava held senior roles at leading global consulting firms and drove growth across regulated and nonregulated sectors. Most recently, he served as operating partner at Thomas H. Lee Partners, where he helped scale portfolio companies through strategic growth and operational excellence.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Sri during this pivotal growth phase,” said Larry Katzman, CEO of AIS. “His experience in enterprise transformation and technology-driven solutions will be key as we continue aligning innovation with tangible client outcomes. His leadership will be instrumental in driving commercial expansion and long-term value for our clients, employees and partners.”

AIS remains committed to delivering transformative solutions through Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem and AI innovation. With Mandava leading the commercial business, the company said it is positioned to grow its market presence, deepen client relationships and accelerate its long-term strategy.

“I’m honored to join AIS and support its mission to deliver innovative, impactful technology solutions,” Mandava said. “I look forward to working with our talented team and Board of Directors to drive growth on top of the strong commercial foundation AIS has built.”
