DMI has appointed Benjamin Mourad as senior director, solution architect.
Mourad will apply his public and private sector experience to design and build next-generation AI-enabled, zero trust-based architectures supporting federal and commercial customer requirements, the company said.
“Benjamin brings a visionary perspective that aligns with DMI’s commitment to innovation,” said DMI Chief Technology Officer Gary Wang. “His experience in both commercial and federal sectors positions us to pioneer advanced cybersecurity solutions.”
Mourad comes to DMI from SAIC, where he was a chief architect within SAIC’s cyber practice within the Digital Innovation Factory. At SAIC, he played a crucial role leading zero trust reference architectures supporting customers’ adoption of public cloud, TIC 3.0, context-based access, operational technology security, and migration from reactive security operations to become more proactive and predictive.
He previously held lead solutions architect and engineer roles at VeriFlow, Allegis Group and AT&T, where he also served as director of technical strategy and innovation – Signature Client Group. He has also held architect and leadership roles at Verizon, Qwest Communications/CenturyLink and Citigroup.
“I’m excited about DMI because we are in a position to take cybersecurity to the next level for our customers,” Mourad said.
“DMI’s place in the market as a company that serves both the commercial and public sectors was a critical factor in my decision to join the team. Under the leadership of CTO Gary Wang, we will be providing unified solutions through advanced analytics and large language models specifically tailored for cybersecurity.”
