Tim Potier’s most recent achievement was successfully elevating cybersecurity as a critical component of Parsons’ long-range strategic planning and overall enterprise risk management strategy. Under his leadership, Parsons’ cybersecurity program became the foundation for a modern enterprise risk management program that dispels the myth that risk management is a business blocker and embraces it as a true enabler.
With technology advancing rapidly, including the adoption of AI, Parsons collaborated with various business groups to emphasize the vital importance of robust cybersecurity practices and the role each employee plays in safeguarding the company. These partnerships led to a cultural shift, where employees recognize their significance in protecting the company’s information.

Looking forward, Potier’s team is dedicated to decreasing Parsons’ overall cyber risk exposure, especially as the company experiences rapid growth across various industries and regions. The team members will improve Parsons’ Security Operations Center, bolstering it with a growing Security Insights and Intelligence team.
Additionally, they plan to expand the capabilities of Parsons’ Security Governance, Risk & Compliance team into the broader enterprise risk management portfolio.
