    Joel Abrahams to Lead Axient’s Air Force Business Unit

    Axient has promoted Joel Abrahams to vice president of the Air Force Business Unit, part of the Defense Systems Segment. This unit, consisting of engineers and scientists, focuses on areas like air and missile defense, testing, hypersonics and digital engineering.

    In his new role, Abrahams will manage contracts and teams across Axient’s Air Force portfolio, including its AF Lifecycle Management Center, AF Test Center, AF Research Laboratory and AF Special Operations Command customers.

    Abrahams brings to the role experience in engineering services with the Defense Department and Air Force. He started his career as an M&S software developer at the AFTC Arnold Engineering Development Center.

    Abrahams’ 19-year career includes numerous positions and responsibilities at Aerospace Testing Alliance, Jacobs and Axient, including analysis, project management, program management, and most recently, as executive director at Axient.
