    Rebecca Hannahs, Siemens Government Technologies

    Rebecca Hannahs

Vice President of People & Organization, Siemens Government Technologies

Before Rebecca Hannahs began her current role in corporate human resources at SGT, she worked in multiple industrial manufacturing environments managing employee programs and benefits.

At the height of the pandemic, she was responsible for all employee relations aspects of the associated ramp-down and site closure of a 100-plus-year-old steam turbine facility in upstate New York. While it was an incredibly challenging situation for everyone, Hannahs is proud she supported employees during a time of change and transition as the business continued to meet its commitments to customers.

“Rebecca’s efforts to help us navigate a rapidly evolving talent environment is essential to our ability to deliver on our mission and support our customers with the very best solutions for their smart infrastructure and digitalization needs,” said John Ustica, Siemens Government Technologies CEO.

    Why Watch

In 2023, Hannahs’ team is leading a comprehensive approach to a values-based recruitment and culture strategy for the organization. It has hosted monthly forums on topics ranging from development plans to diversity and actively engages with leaders on talent planning and succession strategies to ensure continuity across teams.

“I’m incredibly proud of my team at SGT and the work they do to support our employees, with proactive programs and responsive solutions during this time of rapid changes in the nature of work, to help our colleagues contribute their very best to our vital mission every day,” she said.
