She is excited to prioritize climate resilience in the fellows’ research and development efforts, aiming to benefit clients and enhance corporate operations.

“Cat and her team are building a program from the ground up and are tackling ways to reduce the impacts of climate change,” said Wendy Van Wickle, chief business operations officer at Parsons.

In 2023, Sheane’s sustainability team will further enhance the use of climate resilience assessment and mitigation strategies for large-scale transportation projects, prioritizing client needs. Additionally, she will support Parsons’ ESG team by improving annual reporting to ESG raters and partners like S&P and the UN Global Compact. She will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill Parsons’ corporate commitments, including setting emission reduction targets aligned with SBTi and the 1.5°C scenario.
