    Daryl Sng, Accenture

    Daryl Sng

Sustainability Lead, North America Public Service Industry, Accenture

Daryl Sng’s biggest recent achievement was building the Accenture public service sustainability team. Whether it is developing a sustainability strategy, implementing net zero and climate resilience programs, or growing the green workforce, the team brings the best of Accenture’s formidable capabilities in sustainability technology, data and strategy to public sector clients.

“Daryl is able to bring a practical perspective to our government, higher education, and non-profit clients on what a climate ambition should look like and how to organize and execute for success,” said Clinton Moloney, North America sustainability services and strategy lead for Accenture. “Daryl has been instrumental in positioning Accenture on sustainability with our public sector clients throughout North America, bringing them his longstanding experience in climate policy implementation, green economic development and government organizational strategy,”

    Why Watch

In 2023, Sng’s team is focused on collaborating with public sector clients to maximize the impact of investments in sustainability and environmental justice. They aim to address significant challenges in climate, justice and systems by identifying opportunities and implementing effective programs.

“I’ve been involved in climate change for almost 20 years, and the first UN Framework Convention on Climate Change COP (Conference of Parties) that I attended was in Montreal in 2005,” Sng said. “Since that time, it’s been amazing to see sustainability take center stage on the agenda of governments, including the investments needed for a just transition. But the scale of climate investments means nothing without execution, and I’m excited to be rolling my sleeves up and working with clients on addressing climate change using the power of Accenture’s global capabilities.”
