Scott Barnett leads a growing global practice within the Lumen Technologies Public Sector group that provides network connectivity, edge cloud, cybersecurity and collaboration solutions to the Defense Department.
His biggest recent accomplishment is helping Lumen win a $1.5 billion contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide essential network transport and communication services to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.
This contract win came after a 3-year pursuit and capture process that included an in-depth study of DISA’s network design and culminated in an exclusive award to Lumen instead of the incumbent.

The 10-year contract calls for Lumen to provide high-capacity, end-to-end communications services that enable DOD to achieve U.S. national security objectives in the 36-nation Asia Pacific region.
