CGI Federal has appointed Tim Murphy as new vice president of contracts.

“Tim has an exceptional ability to balance business risk and opportunity, which is an essential ingredient to profitable growth,” said Michelle Hertz, CGI Federal general counsel.

Murphy has more than 30 years of federal contracting experience focused on cradle-to-grave contract and subcontract management and compliance.

In his new role, Murphy will oversee oversight and management of CGI Federal’s contracts department. The department includes the business unit-integrated contracts/subcontracts teams and a corporate contracts team focused on enterprise-wide contract vehicles and agreements.

“As CGI Federal continues to grow, Tim’s expertise will be invaluable to extending the company’s reach and enabling existing and new clients to surpass new challenges,” Hertz said.
