Ben Peavy
CIO, Accenture Federal Services
Along with his role at Accenture Federal Services, Ben Peavy was recently elected chairman of San Antonio’s Ready to Work Advisory Board. The $200 million program was approved by San Antonio voters in 2020 to offer thousands of residents pathways to high-quality careers.
“Accenture Federal Services is extremely proud that Ben Peavy has been chosen to lead San Antonio’s Ready to Work Advisory Board,” said Accenture Federal Services CEO John Goodman. “Ben has been involved in Accenture Federal Services’ apprenticeship program for years – a collaborative venture between local government, academia, nonprofit organizations and other business partners. Ben’s leadership role within Ready to Work will directly support thousands of San Antonians in building meaningful careers and better lives for themselves and their families.”
From an Accenture Federal Services’ perspective, over the past year, Peavy’s team successfully integrated over 1,300 Novetta people into its systems following the acquisition of Novetta a year ago. It was the largest corporate acquisition the company has ever completed.
“I’m incredibly proud of how our CIO IT organization worked to make the IT transition for Novetta as seamless as possible to ensure its focus on supporting clients,” Peavy said.
Why Watch
In 2022, Peavy and his team are heavily focused on working closely with client project teams to ensure they are delivering the technology environments needed to provide high-quality client service and to help grow the business. Cybersecurity also remains as a key focus, given the changing threat landscape and regulatory environment.
“I’m thrilled to serve as CIO for Accenture Federal Services, as well as the company’s I&D Council lead, as I’m given the opportunity every day to directly support all 13,000-plus of our people,” Peavy said. “To see the growth and impact of my IT organization is a great joy.”
