    George Kamis, Forcepoint

    George Kamis

CTO, Global Governments & Critical Infrastructure, Forcepoint

George Kamis’ biggest achievement was the continued investment in the company’s leading, cross-domain solutions. Forcepoint meets the evolving NSA Raise the Bar requirements, and its products are more secure and interoperable than ever, he said.

“Our cross-domain solutions have always been effective at the enterprise level, and we’re now developing smaller, purpose-built cross-domain solutions to handle the tactical edge,” Kamis added.

    Why Watch

“George’s nearly 30 years of expertise in cross-domain systems has helped to position Forcepoint as a leader in cross domain for the Department of Defense, intelligence community and our Five Eyes partners and has helped to propel our growth,” said Sean Berg, president of global governments and critical infrastructure at Forcepoint.

The company recently started a formal innovation program within Forcepoint’s Global Government group, and the culture is changing to more innovation centric. This process encourages ideation from the entire team, including development, product management, marketing, business development and sales.

“My team is focused on solving one of the government’s most difficult security problems ⏤ connecting networks at different classification levels as securely as possible,” Kamis said. “I encourage my team to learn something new every day and to think as the adversary because the security landscape changes quickly.”
