TBP&JJ Worldwide Services, a Small Business Administration-approved joint venture between The Building People and J&J Worldwide Services, has been selected by NASA to provide facilities operations and maintenance services for its Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California.

“We look forward to supporting the NASA Armstrong mission as the primary center for high-risk, atmospheric flight research and test projects,” said Lawrence Melton, CEO and president of The Building People.

The joint venture falls under the SBA 8(a) Mentor-Protégé Program. As part of the contract, TBP&JJ Worldwide Services will provide all facilities operations, maintenance, repair, janitorial services, grounds-keeping services and more for all infrastructure and facilities and assets.

“We are committed to delivering innovative technical, analytical, management, and business solutions to NASA Armstrong’s built environment. We are excited to make a difference, and this contract is an excellent example of bringing our vision and passion to a higher level,” Melton said.

TBP&JJ Worldwide Services will also provide quality services in the built environment that integrate technology, buildings and people.

“Our company has had the privilege to provide facility maintenance and janitorial services at some of DoD’s largest and most complex military installations,” said J&J’s CEO & President Steve Kelley. “Our capabilities, combined with The Building People’s innovative technology solutions, positions our team as the ideal partner to support the Armstrong Flight Research Center. We are honored to have the opportunity to serve NASA’s premier site for aeronautical research.”
