Bruno Pesanti has been tapped as vice president of consulting services and sector lead for the Navy and Marine Corps sector under the Defense Intelligence and Space Business Unit at CGI Federal.

Pesanti brings more than 30 years of progressive leadership in the IT field. He has held key federal and civilian positions and joined CGI Federal in 2021 through the acquisition of ARRAY, where he served as IT director and senior solutions executive.

“I am thrilled to step into a role where I can continue to serve federal U.S. agencies with the most critical and urgent missions,” Pesanti said. “Providing these organizations with CGI’s best solutions, technology, and professional teams remains my top priority as the U.S. defense and national security communities continue their ongoing transformation for the Digital Age.”

Before ARRAY, Pesanti was chief technology officer for Technatomy Corp. where he was responsible for new client solution development and corporate IT. He led development efforts that resulted in contracts with the Defense Logistics Agency and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Pesanti also held leadership positions at Infozen, supporting contracts with the Transportation Security Administration, the Defense Information Systems Agency, Joint Staff (J6) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense. He also led the DISA IT Service Management program.

“We are excited to announce the appointment of a professional with Bruno’s level of experience and accomplishment to this important leadership position in the Defense Intelligence and Space Business Unit at CGI Federal,” said Horace L. Blackman, CGI Federal senior vice president and head of the Defense Intelligence and Space Business Unit.

“His record of innovation and growth across commercial and government organizations brings real value and insight to our partnerships with large and complex civilian, military and national security clients at the federal level.”

CGI Federal also elevated Errol McEachron to senior vice president of consulting services, and Alfred Fraser to vice president of consulting services. McEachron will continue leading the Space and Intelligence sector at CGI Federal, and will be responsible for the overall strategy, execution and delivery of IT, business and technology consulting services and solutions in support of space and national security missions.

Fraser is a retired Army senior non-commissioned officer and combat veteran with 40 years of experience establishing, maintaining and expanding client relationships for the Huntsville, Alabama and Lawton, Oklahoma defense markets.
