Buchanan & Edwards Inc. has won a 3-year, $13 million dollar contract with the Government Accountability Office to develop and deliver a customized Enterprise Content Management solution.

This SharePoint Online ECM solution will provide capabilities for content and workflow management, and help refine GAO’s business process management, enterprise search, taxonomy, collaboration, knowledge management, publication, imaging and capture, eDiscovery and digital asset management.

“This is a major initiative for GAO and we are honored that BE has been entrusted with leading this important effort,” said BE CEO Eric Olson. “As industry leading experts in digital transformation, our development methodologies and innovative technical solutions makes us a great fit to help develop a modernized platform.”

GAO advises Congress and various agency leaders on ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness. BE will work within GAO’s information systems and technology services office to deliver and modernize IT, operations, maintenance and development services to the organization.

“We aim to be the premiere IT provider across the entire GAO enterprise and are looking forward to working with the ISTS office to provide GAO with the support and dedication that BE’s Cloud and Digital Transformation practice is known for,” said BE Chief Growth Officer Mohamed Elansary.
