Amyx has won the Defense Logistics Agency’s Automated Material Handling Equipment Technical and Life Cycle Program Support task order, expanding its presence in DLA Distribution Centers for the second time in two years and increasing its support from eight to 12 sites.

“This effort continues our longstanding commitment to enhancing warfighter readiness,” said William Schaefer, Amyx CEO and President. “Amyx has a long history of helping DLA rapidly innovate at the necessary speed and scale to solve the most complex IT and logistics challenges.”

Under the task order, Amyx will provide technical and cybersecurity support for DLA’s Distribution Modernization Program Information Technology and Operational Technology initiatives. These efforts include integrating advancements in voice technology, realtime location systems, augmented reality, automated guided vehicle robotics, and upgrades to the Warehouse Execution System to support modern warfighter requirements.

“It is a privilege to support these ever-important priorities for DLA and I know our team is eager to see the results from the implementation of these new technologies,” Schaefer added.
