    Mohamed Elansary, Buchanan & Edwards

    Mohamed Elansary

Chief Growth Officer, Buchanan & Edwards

Mohamed Elansary’s recent biggest achievement as chief growth officer was working with his team to successfully transition BE from a graduated 8(a) and small business, to a thriving mid-tier that is now a 100% full and open business ⏤ a commonly difficult transition for small businesses to achieve.

A major component of BE’s growth is because of ts focus on key and emerging accounts, which led to its first prime contract supporting a key intelligence community customer. This 7-year contract, valued at $46 million, supports IC-wide end-to-end activities in the adoption of intelligence community services. It marked a major milestone for BE.

Elansary is also proud of his team’s recent acquisition of RenXTech, which doubled BE’s footprint in the IC, and has enabled the company to now blend HUMINT, cyber and tech ops to advance customer operations against adversaries and high-priority targets.

“Our operational capabilities coupled with our background in reporting and collection management provides full spectrum operational support and impactful results,” Elansary said. “M&A will continue to be a critical drive for BE’s growth.”

    Why Watch

In 2022, Elansary’s team is heavily focused on supporting strategic opportunities within key BE accounts as well as best-in-class vehicles and GWACS.

“Mohamed is always pushing our team on how to get to ‘yes,'” said Eric Olson, CEO of BE. “There will always be obstacles, but Mohamed focuses on working together to overcome those obstacles and continually innovates as we compete in the full and open space.”
