Sima Shahin is the first regional vice president of federal systems integrators at Rancher Government Solutions. In this role, she created the company’s FSI division, engaging with and securing 30 net-new partners and growing revenue in this space by 100%, which represents a significant portion of the entire RGS business.
“For Rancher, our challenge was to bring awareness to our leading-edge Kubernetes offerings for the federal marketplace and to quickly and expertly leverage our technology to advance critical missions,” Shahin said. “We addressed that challenge head on by focusing on the FSI market and today, after just 12 months, our partners include many of the industry’s largest, and all of them are leveraging Rancher technology.”
Rancher’s lightweight Kubernetes build enables agencies to perform mission-critical work. Shahin’s engagement with FSI partners means agencies across the federal government today have enhanced edge computing capabilities and can be even more effective in advancing their missions.
Why Watch
In 2022, Shahin and her team are focused on further growing Rancher’s FSI portfolio. They’re targeting 40% growth this year and have ambitious goals beyond that.
