Science Applications International Corp. has added former Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs W. Scott Gould to its strategic advisory board.

Gould is currently CEO of Mountain Lake Associates, LLC, a technology-enabled health care services firm.

“I’m eager to contribute to SAIC as it continues its vital work in confronting the challenges of tomorrow, especially with regard to health services,” Gould said. “I look forward to working with the company and the rest of the Strategic Advisory Board in helping SAIC continue to thrive.”

The company’s strategic advisory board brings together comprehensive expertise from industry and the public sector. It includes David Norquist, former Defense Department deputy secretary and comptroller; Ellen Lord, former DOD undersecretary for acquisition and sustainment; and Dana Deasy, former DOD chief information officer.

SAIC CEO Nazzic Keene said the company is thrilled to add Gould to its team of experts.

“Scott’s experience in the federal government, healthcare services industry and his military service provide him with insight that will be highly beneficial and applicable to our company,” she said. “His unique skillset greatly complements the abilities of the other members of the Strategic Advisory Board, and we look forward to working with him.”
