    John Heneghan

    President, ECS

In 2021, John Heneghan led ECS’ support of a range of customer achievements, including several COVID-19 response and vaccination initiatives, enhancing veteran health and benefits services and building systems to support the safe evacuation and relocation of Afghan refugees.

ECS also expanded its customer base to include Sandia National Labs, CENTCOM, the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Air Force via net new wins and the acquisitions of Indrasoft and ERPI.

To drive customer delivery excellence, technical innovation and employee development, ECS stepped up investment in the ECS Centers of Excellence, including the cybersecurity, cloud, program management and data and AI CoEs. The company also launched several new innovative solution offerings, including the Argos analytics platform, ARC Threat Intelligence and the ECS Pulse customer portal.

Over the past year, ECS also launched a new employee portal, welcomed more than 1,500 new employees and invested over $1 million in training and tuition reimbursement. The company implemented new corporate employee engagement activities, including Pitch Day and the Hackathon and weekly program show-and-tells.

    Why Watch:

“In 2022, my team is heavily focused on scaling ECS as we march to $2 billion in annual revenue,” Heneghan said. “We are expanding our CoEs, solutions and business development capacity, while maintaining our core focus on talent recruitment, development and engagement. We are adding CoEs for application services and IT operations to support professional development and build value-added solutions for our customers.”

With a goal of investing in a talented and diverse workforce, ECS increased benefits and is set to deploy an enhanced learning management program, a new leadership program and expand its employee resource groups in 2022.

“Under John’s leadership, we have increased business development capacity, improved operational efficiency, integrated four newly acquired companies, and built a deep portfolio of innovative solutions to support our customers’ most critical challenges,” said Ted Hanson, ASGN CEO. “John is committed to attracting, developing and retaining a diverse and talented workforce, making ECS an employer of choice in a highly competitive talent market.”
