BlueHalo has tapped Deat LaCour as director of diversity, equity and inclusion to support mission critical strategies and tactics that help to create an inclusive workplace culture.
“BlueHalo possesses a DE&I vision and leadership commitment in which people and culture are mission critical. I am honored and proud to be a part of the innovation in BlueHalo’s drive to grow as an industry-leader in DE&I while solving challenges in space and directed energy, air and missile defense and C4ISR, and intelligence mission areas,” LaCour said.
LaCour joins BlueHalo from the U.S. Secret Service, where he helped implement programs to build and strengthen a new industrial organizational psychology research initiative and metrics-based decision-making.
“We are thrilled to have Dr. LaCour join BlueHalo to help us build a culture of diverse inclusivity that ensures access to equitable treatment, opportunities, and advancement for our workforce, and imbues a strong sense of feeling valued in the broader organization,” said Chief Human Capital Officer Ray Khuo.
As part of BlueHalo’s talent acquisition effort, LaCour will work with the team to attract new talent, and will work with the operations and human resources organizations to identify areas for improvement to engage and retain the workforce.
