Buchanan & Edwards Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, The Reports and Requirements Company, or R2C, have been awarded a large, multiyear contract to provide data governance policy support to a national security customer.
This effort will focus on developing data governance policies to manage the sharing of critical information across multiple agencies in a multicloud/multidomain environment.
Buchanan & Edwards CEO Eric Olson said data governance is “tremendously important” to the company.
“Improving interagency information sharing is a vital mission – one that we’re proud to be a part of,” he added. “This represents a fantastic opportunity for both BE and R2C to flex our expertise in data governance and data sharing standards.”
R2C provides public sector data governance training and thought leadership for various federal and state customers.
“As leaders in data governance, we’re always looking for opportunities to help improve and streamline policy and standards,” said R2C CEO Tara Davey. “It is truly a core capability for R2C, and we are excited to bring our data governance expertise to this new environment.”
