IT and business consulting services provider Alpha Omega Integration, LLC announced it has won the Indian Health Service Enterprise Architecture program support contract.

Alpha Omega is to help the Indian Health Service develop an agencywide technology roadmap by strengthening information and resources available to its enterprise architecture program. The aim is to achieve the agency’s mission through optimal performance of its core business processes within efficient IT and health IT environment.

“Organizing the data gathered from the Health IT endpoints to create a meaningful resource for IHS is indispensable to decision making and to continuously improving the health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives,” said Alpha Omega Integration President and CEO Gautam Ijoor. “We are excited to support the IHS Enterprise Architecture program on this endeavor.”

Over 45,000 devices and approximately 70,000 endpoints on the IHS and health IT network are in use by approximately 475 IHS offices and health care facilities across 37 states.

“Alpha Omega will improve the effectiveness of the business processes, data, resources, services, systems and technology that support IHS mission and goals,” said Alpha Omega Integration Senior Vice President of Business Development Chip Seeger.
