WashingtonExec’s Amanda Ziadeh sat down with Ken Falke, chairman of the Boulder Crest Foundation and best-selling author of “Struggle Well: Thriving in the Aftermath of Trauma,” to discuss the concept behind the book he co-wrote and how it relates to the foundation’s mission. The Boulder Crest Foundation focuses on using post-traumatic growth to heal, train and advocate for combat veterans, first responders and their families who have experienced trauma. Falke’s book approaches PTSD and various forms of trauma, and ways to understand and overcoming them. As a combat veteran himself, Falke shares the importance of the book’s message, what it means to transform struggle into strength and growth and what he hopes readers take away from the book.

The book is currently available on Amazon.
