Health IT solutions provider CNSI has named Verlon Johnson senior vice president of corporate strategy to develop and implement the organization’s growth strategy.

Johnson comes to CNSI with 23 years of experience at the Department of Health and Human Services, and having held several leadership roles in the state, federal and commercial health care markets. She most recently was vice president of health care policy and program management for IBM Watson Health’s Government Health and Human Services business group.

“Verlon has a strong track record of advancing innovative healthcare solutions and outcomes through improvements in financing, quality, and cost,” said CNSI CEO Todd Stottlemyer. “Her experience and expertise will help us shape our strategy, products, and solutions to meet our clients’ current and future needs.”

Johnson said she’s excited to join a passionate team “advancing our nation’s health care goals of enhancing patient experiences, improving healthcare outcomes, and lowering medical costs through state-of-the-art technology and innovative solutions.”

“I am honored to use my knowledge and expertise to help build on CNSI’s successes as we continue transforming healthcare,” she added.
