Defense contractor BlueHalo has appointed finance executive Robert Richards to serve as chief financial officer.

In his new role, Richards will be tasked with the overall financial performance of the company and oversight of financial planning and analysis, program control, accounting, contracts, IT, facilities, legal and treasury. He will serve as a key member of the senior executive leadership team.

“I am thrilled and excited to join the BlueHalo team,” Richards said. “It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with such a talented management team, an exceptional employee base, and to support such critical customer missions.”

Richards most recently served as CFO for Centauri, and prior to that, held the same role at National Technologies Associates, Inc.

BlueHalo CEO Jonathan Moneymaker said he’s excited Richards has joined.

“Robert’s track record of leading organizations and driving financial performance through partnerships with business leaders and customers will create tremendous value as we build a long-term, sustainable platform in the national security market,” Moneymaker added.

An Arlington Capital Partners portfolio company, BlueHalo is a provider of advanced engineering solutions and technology to the national security community. The company was formed through the combination of AEgis Technologies, Applied Technology Associates and Brilligent Solutions.
