In its 20th year, the March of Dimes Heroines of Washington Awards honors professional women in the D.C. area who perform extraordinary acts of community service. The event will be virtual this year, and will fund critical research and provide support and information to expectant moms during the COVID-19 pandemic. Felix further explains how the initiative supports the health of moms and babies impacted by the pandemic, and shares what inspired ASRC Federal to support the cause.
March of Dimes begins Oct. 8 and run through the end of the month, with a virtual kickoff followed by an eight-part series of tribute panel discussions featuring former heroine award recipients.
