Business solutions provider CNSI has hired Gaurav Maini as senior vice president and managing director for the company’s operations in Chennai, India.

CNSI CEO Todd Stottlemyer said Maini’s expansive health care and technology experience in the U.S. and India help him “inherently understands the complexity of our industry.”

“He knows what it takes to build and deploy technology solutions to help improve health outcomes, better manage population health, and bend the cost curve,” Stottlemyer added.

Maini has spent the past eight years as managing director of Philips VitalHealth Asia Pacific. In this role, he established Philips as a leading provider of population health management solutions that focus on the management of health care data, coordination of care and patient and clinician engagement.

Prior to joining Philips, Maini spent more than a decade at Epic, one of the world’s largest electronic medical records software providers, where he was part of the executive committee. There, he oversaw large deployments of EMR systems at Kaiser Permanente, Johns Hopkins, Sutter, Geisinger Health systems, and he has managed various development teams.

“I am excited to be a part of CNSI,” Maini said. “I am passionate about the confluence of technology and healthcare and am impressed by the products and solutions that CNSI offers in the healthcare technology space.”
