Array Information Technology President and CEO Sumeet Shrivastava has been selected as a finalist for the Government Contractor Executive of the Year at the 12th Annual SECAF Awards.

Shrivastava joins four other finalists in the category of Government Contractor Executive of the Year, which recognizes executives who have shown a commitment to excellence to their company, community, the government contracting industry and their employees.

“I am honored and humbled to be recognized with such an elite group of professionals as a SECAF award finalist,” Shrivastava said. “It’s been an amazing journey as we’ve transitioned from our small business status and it couldn’t have been possible without the incredible team at ARRAY.”

Shrivastava has almost three decades of experience in the government IT industry. As president and CEO of ARRAY, he provides overall corporate leadership for the company’s growth strategy, which included a successful graduation from the 8(a) program and established ARRAY as a full-and-open, competitive government contractor. In 2019, he was recognized by WashingtonExec as a Top 10 CEO to Watch.

A graduate of George Mason University, he has served on the Business School’s Advisory Council for the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and supported the launch of the Center for Government Contracting. In addition, Shrivastava serves on the board of the TiE DC Chapter, the Children’s Science Center, the GMU Foundation board of trustees and is the president of Mason’s Alumni Association.
