Sev1Tech, LLC, a mid-tier company that provides technology solutions to various customers, announced Sept. 14 it has hired Yogesh Khanna as chief technology and strategy officer.

In his new role, Khanna will be responsible for driving growth by developing technology-enabled solutions to overcome customers’ most complex challenges.

Khanna said he was drawn to the company “because of its rising stature as a strong mid-tier player backed by a reputable private equity partner in DFW capital.”

“The organization has a comprehensive portfolio of capabilities and delivers compelling solutions and services to support our customers’ mission,” he continued. “Sev1Tech has an amazing company culture that places tremendous value on diversity of thought and fosters an entrepreneurial mindset that is critical to innovate and deliver greater value to our customers.”

Khanna has over 30 years of experience as a leader in the IT, systems engineering, information assurance, finance and telecommunications markets. He’s served as senior vice president and chief technology officer at GDIT, CSRA and CSC, where he was responsible for developing and implementing market strategies using emerging technologies.

Throughout his career, Khanna has delivered complex integrated solutions and services to government and commercial customers. He has won numerous awards including the 2018 Fed100 Award for his leadership and Washington Technology’s 2012 CTO of the Year Award for his establishment of CSC’s data consolidation and cloud market strategy.

“I am thrilled to welcome Yogesh to the Sev1Tech family,” Sev1Tech CEO Bob Lohfeld said. “As the organization continues to grow, his experience conceptualizing, developing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions will be invaluable in delivering greater value to our customers and achieving our growth objectives.”
