ICF recently named Kris Tremaine group lead and senior managing partner for ICF Next, the company’s marketing, communications and digital transformation agency, and promoted Caryn McGarry to senior vice president and chief human resources officer.

Tremaine has been with the company for 13 years and has played an integral role in its growth. In 2019, she helped establish ICF Next and blend its technology and engagement skills with the company’s market expertise to better serve its clients.

She also played an important role in the creation of one of ICF’s most successful divisions, which grew the company’s digital experience, IT modernization, analytics and marketing and communications services for public sector clients. Additionally, Tremaine was named a 2017 Top Woman in PR by PR News.

“Kris is a proven, effective leader with the experience and skills we need to bring ICF Next’s integrated growth strategy to the next level through improved operations and advanced market positioning,” said John Wasson, ICF president and chief executive officer. “Her 30 plus years of experience with both the private and public sectors will greatly contribute to our growth.”

McGarry joined the company in 2017 as head of talent acquisition before taking on an expanded role as vice president of ICF’s human resources centers of expertise.

She has led numerous initiatives to strengthen the company’s HR operations with a focus on employment branding strategy and talent recruitment using new technologies.

“Caryn brings an incredible passion and unrelenting focus on the development of our people and maintaining a culture grounded in our mission-driven values,” Wasson said. “Her extensive experience in talent acquisition will be key in helping us advance our global diversity and inclusion efforts and grow our talent across the company.”
