Digital transformation company DMI has purchased cloud-native headless commerce solutions provider Devgurus, expanding DMI’s European footprint and extending the company’s global reach into South America.

DMI CEO and founder Jay Sunny Bajaj said with the Devgurus acquisition, DMI can future-proof its customers’ e-commerce architecture with current technologies that build the foundation of the new digital commerce age.

Founded in 2006, Devgurus is a Commercetools services provider. Commercetools is a flexible microservices-based commerce platform that helps retailers and manufacturers realize brand value by creating sophisticated shopping experiences across new channels.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with DMI, an already established global leader in digital transformation that provides our company with the infrastructure and marketing capabilities to fuel accelerated growth,” said Devgurus CEO Matias Páez Molina. “Both companies share a passion for developing robust, enterprise-grade digital commerce solutions for clients. We’re excited about the vision and confidence DMI has in our talented developers.”
