Tim Solms joined Dun & Bradstreet as part of the executive leadership team to transform the company. As an experienced leader in government, he quickly executed on a strategy to modernize the government business and optimize it for long-term, sustained growth.
In less than a year, Solms introduced and implemented an innovation framework for his business, driving a new mission, strategy, operating model and culture. He redesigned the government team to drive innovation that delivers differentiated, data-driven solutions that advance the nation’s mission, helping to secure supply chains, identify fraud, assist in the oversight of relief efforts and identify threats to the defense industrial base.
In a surge to support COVID-19 economic relief and recovery efforts, Solms brought executive engagement directly to the White House’s National Economic Council, the Federal Reserve and international governments.
“Dun & Bradstreet’s data is incredibly powerful,” he said. “We are committed to assisting government agencies understand correlations and trends in data, and to use that data effectively to bring forth new capabilities to protect our nation and our people.”
Under Solms’ direction, the Dun & Bradstreet government team fully committed to take a more active role in the government community, focusing its time and resources to engage with thought leaders and influencers across government advisory boards, social forums and small business organizations. Dun & Bradstreet has also partnered with the United Services Organization and a local food bank to raise funds and lend support to local families and military communities in need.
