Bruce Crowell, chief financial officer at SOS International LLC, has won WashingtonExec’s 2020 Chief Officer Award for Private Company CFO.
In its inaugural year, the Chief Officer Awards luncheon was held June 17 as a virtual live-streamed program to accommodate the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations about in-person events. Over 500 people watched as C-suite executives in both industry and government were recognized for their innovation, expertise, impact and thought leadership.
Crowell has been with SOSi for 17 years and has extensive experience in capital market transactions, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, IT management, strategic planning and legal oversight,
In 2019, Crowell directed SOSi’s acquisition of Vykin Corp. He also oversaw the reorganization and consolidation of several of SOSi’s legacy HR, payroll and financial systems. Moreover, Crowell is directing a revamp of SOSi’s cost structures to improve its biding flexibility and enhance price competitiveness.
Crowell is also a member of Financial Executives International, a professional organization for controllers, treasurers and CFOs.
