    SOSi Reorganizes to Drive Growth in Defense IT, Intelligence

    Technology and services integrator SOS International LLC has merged its defense IT and intelligence solutions business units under the leadership of Ed Bachl.

    SOSi said its newly integrated Defense and Intelligence Solutions Group aligns its intelligence analytic, information operations, and technical collection capabilities with its engineering, cybersecurity and mission IT expertise.

    “As a bold and agile organization, we are adapting our business structure to align with the operational and procurement strategy shifts exhibited by our customer in the defense and intelligence markets,” said Julian Setian, SOSi President and CEO.

    The group supports various programs in the Defense Department and the intelligence community. It’s a prime contractor on the Defense Intelligence Agency Solutions for Intelligence Analysis program and the lead architect of DOD’s global Mission Partner Environment.

    Collecting analysts, developers and IT professionals in just one business unit gives the company “a tremendous market discriminator,” said Bachl, SOSi senior vice president for defense and intelligence solutions.

    “We can incorporate actual user feedback taken from our analysts in the field to develop more effective mission applications, networks, and IT solutions that meet our customers’ current and future needs,” he added.
