WashingtonExec wants to highlight and honor the best industry chief information security officers — and needs your help to do so!

Held June 10, 2020, as a virtual event, the Chief Officer Awards will showcase the most innovative executives in government and industry in the C-suite. The goal is to shine a light on the technologists, security experts and business leaders making waves in government contracting from both sides of the sector.

For the CISO in industry award, we are seeking those responsible for actively and efficiently putting the right tools, strategies and enterprise vision in place to secure and protect organizational information and technologies. These CISOs are in charge of identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining processes enterprisewide to safeguard data assets and minimize cyber risk, and they take an active role in understanding the evolving threat landscape.

Nominations may come from peers, employees, supervisors and fellow industry leaders.

Achievements between 2019 and 2020 will be considered.

An executive and/or agency can submit nominations for more than one category, and self-nominations are accepted. Nominations should be max 350 words and include how the CISO solved a challenge(s) for the end customer.

The submission deadline is May 8.
