Health IT enterprise solutions provider CNSI has hired Heidi Robbins Brown as vice president of Medicaid policy and programs.

A nationally recognized expert in Medicaid policy, operations and information systems, Robbins Brown comes to CNSI with over six years of national health care consulting and 23 years of state and federal government service.

“Heidi has exceptionally strong experience in Medicaid policy and, just as important, knows how to implement policy to improve the lives of the most vulnerable Medicaid populations,” said CNSI CEO Todd Stottlemyer.

“Her experience as a client and her ability to advise states and health plans across the country will help us shape our Medicaid technology roadmap, products, and services for years to come,” he added.

From 2013-2019, Robbins Brown served as principal consultant with both HMA and HMS – specializing in Medicaid systems, program integrity and data analytics and cost containment initiatives. Prior to that, she served the Washington Medicaid program as the deputy Medicaid director and oversaw the replacement of the state’s legacy Medicaid Management Information System.

“Public service is very much part of who I am as a person,” Robbins Brown said. “The opportunity to combine my public policy background with CNSI’s commitment to serving government clients that provide health care benefits is a perfect fit – I’m thrilled to join the team.”
